Fort Worth bulk pickup & tree trimming

Plan your tree trimming before bulk pickup.

Looking for Fort Worth bulk pickup dates, a bulk trash pickup schedule, or city brush collection rules? Use the official address lookup above to find your collection dates. Then contact TreeService817 to plan tree trimming and preparation of eligible branches around the appropriate pickup service.

Our curbside tree debris preparation covers cutting, organizing and stacking limbs from our own work. We review Fort Worth brush pickup limits, bulk pile size, clearances and set-out timing before scheduling. This can reduce private hauling costs when debris qualifies for city collection.

A smarter cleanup plan

Tree trimming with city pickup in mind.

01 / PLAN THE TIMING

Work before your pickup week

Share your address and confirmed city collection week. We aim to schedule trimming about a week beforehand, subject to availability and the needs of your trees.

02 / CUT & ORGANIZE

Prepare the debris

We cut and organize eligible limbs for the appropriate city collection stream. Weekly brush and monthly bulk have different rules; we plan the pile for the correct service.

03 / CORRECT PLACEMENT

Stack within the allowed window

We coordinate curbside placement with the city’s set-out timing and access rules. When eligible debris can go with city collection, avoiding private hauling can reduce your total cost.

Looking for your city pickup day? Use the official links below. We plan your trimming and debris preparation around the applicable collection rules.

  • Weekly brush collection: Individual limbs may be up to 8 feet long and 4 inches in diameter. Tied bundles must be no longer than 4 feet and weigh no more than 40 pounds.
  • Keep the pile separate: No plastic bags, garbage, bulk items, stumps or root balls in brush piles. Piles over 10 cubic yards may trigger collection charges.
  • Monthly bulk collection: Follow your assigned bulk week. Set out no earlier than 6 p.m. Friday beforehand, and have the pile ready by 7 a.m. Monday. Keep at least 2 feet clear of obstacles and leave access above the pile.
  • Other limits: Do not mix brush with bulk waste. Stumps and root balls up to 18 inches in diameter may go in the bulk pile; larger ones need another disposal plan. Do not place a bulk pile under trees or where branches block access.
  • Paper yard bags: Maximum 40 pounds each. There is no limit on the number of compliant paper bags or tied bundles.
  • Bulk pile size: One pile up to 10 cubic yards avoids extra size charges. Out-of-cycle or non-compliant bulk collection can result in city fees.

Before you book

Fort Worth bulk pickup & tree trimming questions.

How do I find my Fort Worth bulk pickup dates?

Use the “Find Your Bulk Pickup Week” button to open the City of Fort Worth’s official My Area address lookup. Enter your street address and check the Waste Collection information. Share your confirmed collection week with TreeService817 when requesting a trimming estimate.

Is Fort Worth brush pickup the same as bulk trash pickup?

No. Weekly brush collection and monthly bulk waste collection have different rules. Smaller eligible limbs can go with weekly brush collection; larger material needs the appropriate collection or disposal plan. Keep brush separate from bulk waste and follow the city’s current rules.

Will you stack or pick up debris from someone else’s tree work?

No. Debris cutting, stacking and pickup follow-up are available only for tree work performed by TreeService817. We do not stack or haul debris from DIY work or another company.

How can this save me money?

If the city accepts your debris, you may avoid some or all private hauling and disposal costs. Your estimate will identify the trimming and preparation work, and any separate hauling needed. Savings vary by job.

Will you put everything at the curb a week early?

No. We aim to trim about a week before your bulk collection week, but curbside set-out must follow the city’s allowed window: no earlier than 6 p.m. Friday before the assigned bulk week. Any earlier staging and later placement must be agreed as part of the job.

What measurements do you follow?

For weekly brush collection, individual limbs may be up to 8 feet long and 4 inches in diameter; tied bundles may be up to 4 feet long and 40 pounds. Monthly bulk is a different collection stream. We review the applicable rules and pile limits for your job rather than treating all tree debris alike.

What if my pile is not picked up?

If the pile is from tree work we performed, contact TreeService817 at 817-500-7107 so we can review what happened and arrange the next step. This follow-up does not cover debris from DIY work or another company. We have helped Tarrant County customers with tree work for over 15 years.

Are you part of the City of Fort Worth?

No. This is a private tree trimming and debris-preparation service by TreeService817. The city independently provides eligible collection services and controls the schedule.
